Wayfinder Launches Navigation Services for Blackberry
Wayfinder is compatible with the BlackBerry 8700 Series, BlackBerry 7100 Series and the BlackBerry 7290 handsets.
Wayfinder announced its GPS navigation services with voice, graphical and map directions for BlackBerry developed by Research In Motion (RIM). Wayfinder selected BlackBerry because of its wide recognition as the leading wireless solution for the worldwide mobile communications market providing seamless access to email, phone, SMS messaging, Internet and other applications.

The Wayfinder Navigator provides mobile users with navigation and content services, including digital city guide books, traffic information, currency conversion and weather reports on BlackBerry devices. Wayfinder Navigator includes Wayfinder's Bluetooth GPS device, which communicates with BlackBerry handsets via Bluetooth, supplying accurate information about a user's current position.

"BlackBerry is used by millions of people around the world and Wayfinder Navigator is a perfect fit for BlackBerry users who need a precise and simple mobile navigation system," said Magnus Nilsson, CEO, Wayfinder Systems. "Wayfinder received tremendous feedback at the Wireless Enterprise Symposium in Orlando, Florida in May this year and as many existing subscribers have already discovered, the Wayfinder Navigator is an immensely valuable tool for both personal and business users."
