M-spatial rolls out new content and functionality on Orange Finder
M-spatial announces the addition of new content and functionality to the Orange Finder mobile local search service available on the Orange Wolrd Portal.
Built on m-spatial's unique Local Search and Discovery Engine (LSDE)™, Orange Finder now features exclusive content from an increasing array of providers including Active Hotels and an enriched user interface.

Part of an ongoing programme to provide an increasingly intuitive, personalised and compelling search experience for consumers, the new features delivered by LSDE include:

New rich content: integration of new third party content including business descriptions and photographs. Additional branded content includes Active Hotels which provides detailed information and a booking service for over 15,000 European hotels, and 5pm, which offers detailed information and a booking service for restaurants across the UK.

Increasing personalisation: creation of a 'favourites list' to provide an immediate view of a saved location for daily use, e.g. home town, or for repeat access to a business or amenity, e.g. when planning an event.

Additional search options: expansion of search options to include 'search by category' to further compliment the existing 'discovery' based interface

Launched in December 2005, Orange Finder provides rapid access to detailed information for over 2 million businesses and amenities in the UK, and live and dynamic local information such as traffic and travel, entertainment venues and gigs, business descriptions, photographs and listings.
