GyPSii is taking on emerging markets by working directly with carriers and their partners through GyPSii’s OpenExperience API to create GyPSii-powered consumer applications that drive data usage and introduce advertising revenue. This strategy has come full-circle in China where GyPSii acquired over one million new mobile users in the last quarter of 2009 and is delivering targeted advertising and coupons throughout the application. With potential reach to over 130 million subscribers in Latin America, the arrangement with Genasys offers GyPSii the opportunity to further expand their business model in another important emerging market.
