Novasys acquires Tridoo
The aim is to expand even more internationally and create a combined technological platform.
Novasys SA, a Swiss company providing geocentric information services for Internet and mobile usage, announces the acquisition of Tridoo SAS, better known as onYourmap, a software company based in Paris, France. Tridoo is leading its market as provider of solutions to online Local Search. It is best known for its technological know-how, performance and innovation. Its solutions allow end users to access seamlessly location based hyper-local information on websites and mobile phones.

This acquisition strengthens both companies significantly as suppliers of online geocentric services – SaaS (Software as a Service or Cloud computing) - and shall allow them to rapidly:

* provide their clients in the field of Geolocalisation and Tracking, Local Search, Yellow Pages and Directory Assistance, with respective reinforced offers including high performing mapping, searching, hyper-local content and mobile services.

* create a combined technological platform with expanded functionalities such as multidimensional search, people and vehicle tracking, cartographic rendering and improved display performance.

* expand internationally by combining their commercial teams and foot prints.

The teams shall operate together and the technical solutions as well as the respective clients’ portfolios are complementary. Synergies between the companies will provide the Novasys group with the means to avail itself of growth opportunities linked to the rapid development of its markets. Also, the revenue of the Novasys group, as well as its profitability in the short and mid term, shall be strengthened.
