A new distribution agreement for the GPS navigation system Maporama Drive Me.
Maporama International and Minorplanet Systems plc announce that they have entered into a distribution agreement of the GPS navigation system Maporama Drive Me for its business channels in Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Middle East.
Minorplanet Systems brings to Maporama International its knowledge of the players and the growth levers on the New Zealand European, Australian and the Middle East markets to develop new market shares.
Present locally in the UK, Germany, Ireland, Holland, Australia and in New Zealand, Minorplanet Systems plc is going to market directly the mobility solution Maporama Drive Me, by benefiting from recent technological advances of Maporama Intl. "The local presence of Minorplanet as well as its expertise of the market make Minorplanet the ideal partner. This agreement between Maporama Intl and Minorplanet makes this offer particularly unique and competitive to meet the companies’ requirements in terms of navigation" clarifies Danièle Drahy, COO Maporama International.
This partnership is perfectly in compliance with the strategy of international intensification introduced by Maporama International, with the recent announcement of the opening of a commercial office in the United Kingdom.
The business perspectives of this distribution agreement are very important regarding first the market size Minorplanet Systems plc focuses on, and secondly are strategic for the development of Maporama Intl. The executives of the company assert that the agreement will bear its first fruit on spring, 2008.
